Beef Burgers

Basic Recipe

For Burgers:

1-pound ground beef
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup onion, chopped finely
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped finely
Salt, to taste

For Topping:

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
4 Gruyere cheese slices


1. In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and mix until well

2. Make 4 equal-sized patties from the mixture.

3. Arrange the patties onto a cooking tray.

4. Arrange the drip pan in the bottom of Instant Vortex Plus Air Fryer
Oven cooking chamber.

5. Select “Air Fry” and then adjust the temperature to 370 degrees F.

6. Set the timer for 15 minutes and press the “Start”.

7. When the display shows “Add Food” insert the cooking rack in the
center position.

8. When the display shows “Turn Food” turn the burgers.

9. Meanwhile, for sauce: in a small bowl, add the mustard, brown
sugar and soy sauce and mix well.

10. When cooking time is complete, remove the tray
from Vortex and coat the burgers with the sauce.

11. Top each burger with 1 cheese slice.

12. Return the tray to the cooking chamber and select

13. Set the timer for 3 minutes and press the “Start”.

14. When cooking time is complete, remove the tray
from Vortex and serve hot.
